I became a mother

I Became a Mother is a deeply personal exploration of the transformation that motherhood brings. Through raw self-portraits and evocative imagery, I document the physical, emotional, and psychological shifts I experienced after the birth of my daughter. What began as a way to capture our early moments together soon evolved into a deeper reflection on identity, change, and the unspoken realities of becoming a mother. With this series, I challenge idealised notions of motherhood, embracing its complexity, vulnerability, and quiet strength.
